I don't know where time goes. We are now back in Florida having arrived October 8th. I brought a Midwest cold and a case of poison ivy with me. Quarantined myself for nearly a week. With the H1N1 and Swine flu virus' everyone of us needs to stay away from public areas. So I watched a lot of TV, took naps, played Sudoku, and kept a low profile. Besides it was 90+ outside with very high humidity. So staying in an air conditioned climate felt good.
Having left Nappanee on October 3rd, we enjoyed three days with our grand kids and celebrated Kaitlyn's 8th birthday! My goodness can't believe that child is growing up so fast. We visited some good friends, Pete and Mary, in Louisville on Monday evening, stayed in Macon, GA on Tuesday and saw some more good friends, John and Marilyn in Ocala on Wednesday.
Our fruit trees will bare us a nice selection of tangerines, oranges and grapefruit. Before we came down we were picking plenty of apples and pears, making applesauce, apple butter, and apple cider.
The calendar is starting to fill up with activities. So much for "taking it easy"!
