My Crazy, Fun Lovin' Grandkids

We left Florida for Indiana on Thursday, April 22nd. We were on the road for one night and arrived in Columbus, IN to spend two days with Mike, Kristi and grandkids. It was so good to see them, get hugs and kisses and hear all about what they were up to. Of course I wanted to get pictures. So Papaw, me (mamaw) and the four angels (did I say angels?) posed for a family shot in the playroom. The kids have always taken pictures with my camera. Yeh, sometimes I'm a little nervous, but for the most part they have taken some funny pix and been careful with the camera! Today we were going to do a timed shot so everyone would be in the picture. The first time around, Kenna had Joshua's camera and she was going to take a picture of me setting up the timed exposure; however, Joshua was going to push the button and run into the pose. Jacob decided to cover his face, Kenna didn't get the camera lowered quick enough, Joshua was watching Kenna, and Kaitlyn was racing up the sled to get into the picture.

OKAY LET'S TRY IT AGAIN. Picture number two: Kaitlyn looks beautiful, Papaw is smiling, Jacob pulls his shirt up so we can see his tummy, Joshua hits the timed exposure and runs into the picture, Kenna is trying to get out of my lap so she could hit the camera button also, Joshua is watching Kenna and looking out of the corner of his eye to make sure the camera is flashing as the ten second countdown begins.

OKAY - THIS PICTURE IS GOOD TO GO! Who knows what Jacob will pull next! I love being a grandma!
